Tee’s journey into hairdressing was sparked by a love of fashion. Like most teenagers, Tee enjoyed looking good, but there were not many opportunities to work in the fashion industry where he grew up in a small rural village in Malaysia . Tee began his career as a Barber at only 16- years old. Tee was fortunate enough to be taught and inspired by, Vidal Sassoon Creative Director, Melvin Walden. After gaining a wealth of experience in the salon environment. Tee continued to study fashion design including at the prestigious St Martins School of Art and Design and channeled what he learnt about fashion into hair styling. His goal was to become a Session Stylist for photoshoots and prestigious Fashion Week. Tee now regularly travels to London, Milan and Paris working with some of the world’s most exclusive fashion brands.
